My favorite Connecticut hiking trails
I may not be a fan of bugs but nothing outweighs sunshine and fresh air on a good hike. Every year I feel like hiking season starts and ends so fast especially when the New England cold frost arrives. This doesn’t stop others but this brings my participation to a screeching halt. I definitely have a temperature cut off. LOL
Ct has quite a nice mix dirt and paved trails. Might sound corny but my favorite ones have a stone castle or tower at the top of the hike, this is my reward. LOL Here's a list of my favorite places to hike and make sure to let me know if you've explored these hidden CT gems! Next year I will make it my mission to explore the hiking trails outside my area. If you have any recommendations let me know in the comment section!
